Daily Hair Care For Your Kid’s Hair

Proper Wash­ing — Use a gen­tle sham­poo

for cleans­ing children’s hair. Emul­sify your sham­poo in your palms and spread it through, con­cen­trat­ing on the scalp. With the tips of your fin­gers, rub semi-firmly all over the scalp and squeeze the sham­poo into the ends gen­tly. Be sure to rinse suf­fi­ciently. Scalp itch­i­ness and irri­ta­tion can be caused by deposit of your sham­poo. Be sure to lift the hair away from the scalp and let suf­fi­cient rinse water flow through.

Con­di­tion­ing - If your child has long hair and suf­fers from sta­tic elec­tric, be sure to use a daily con­di­tioner which will keep it smooth and well-behaved. Be sure to thor­oughly rinse well, espe­cially the scalp to reduce con­di­tioner build-up.

And a wide tooth comb. Plus a great deal of patience, To elim­i­nate the pain fac­tor for the child, you should always start comb­ing at the ends and work your way up. Take hold of the sec­tion of hair you’re work­ing with mid­way down and hold it securely. This way, the tug­ging is con­tained in your hand rather than to your child’s scalp. If your child’s hair is thick, sep­a­rate it into a few mid size sec­tions and comb thor­oughly each sec­tion before comb­ing the hair as a whole before you hair style
your child’s hair.

Chlo­rine -
Now if the hair has a sickly green­ish cast to it already from expo­sure to chlo­rine, there are some tricks you can do to neu­tral­ize the green color.Use a rinse with tomato juice, and or make a sham­poo paste by mix­ing your sham­poo with a tad of water and one of the fol­low­ing ingredients…baking soda, dis­solved aspirin, or alka seltzer tablets and rub it briskly into the hair. Leave on for 10–15 min­utes. Rinse and con­di­tion as usual. Apple cider vine­gar is also a good rinse for remov­ing chlorine.

As a pre­ven­ta­tive mea­sure, sat­u­rate the hair with a treat­ment which is a con­di­tion­ing ch-elating treat­ment. It pro­tects hair from dis­col­oration due to chlo­rine, cop­per and other impurities.
